After learning Logic Pro X in 2018, Ali began releasing music under two separate artist personas to explore different genres. His experimental electronic and hip-hop productions were released as Ali Prod, while his rock and metal compositions were released under the alias Talaria.

Drawing inspiration from Greek, Norse, and Arthurian mythologies, Talaria embodied Ali’s industrial rock side, while Ali Prod became the vehicle for his beat-making, engineering, and multi-genre production.

Originally released under the artist name Talaria to all DSPs, but was removed by distributor for "Streaming Fraud". Written and produced independently by Ali Prod (Kenan Ali Erkan) under the name Talaria. Now is re-uploaded to the creators personal SoundCloud in order to maintain full independence over his music.

Albums are inspired by Progressive Rock, Post- Rock/Punk/Metal, Industrial Rock, Shoegaze, and Blackened/Gothic- Rock/Punk/Metal music. This Album was created for Ali Prod's alter ego rocker persona Talaria. Originally released under the artist name Talaria to all DSPs.   

Kenan Ali Erkan, known professionally as Ali Prod™, is an independent artist, audio engineer, and abstract painter based in Rochester, NY. Since 2019, he has written, composed, produced, mixed, and mastered music entirely from his home studio — releasing across genres ranging from experimental electronic and hip hop to industrial rock and psychedelic sound design.

The name Ali Prod comes from his middle name, Ali, and reflects both his heritage and his full creative role: producer, engineer, and composer. But Ali's journey started long before his beats — he picked up guitar at age 14 and dreamed of forming a rock band. That dream would evolve, fracture, and reform through years of experimentation, identity shifts, and betrayal by the very platforms meant to support artists.

After learning Logic Pro X in 2018, Ali began releasing music under two separate artist personas to explore different genres. His experimental electronic and hip-hop productions were released as Ali Prod, while his rock and metal compositions were released under the alias Talaria — a persona rooted in myth and distortion. His debut album Mercury launched under Talaria, with the breakout track “Purgatory” reaching 20,000 Spotify streams within months. Drawing inspiration from Greek, Norse, and Arthurian mythologies, Talaria embodied Ali’s industrial rock side, while Ali Prod became the vehicle for his beat-making, engineering, and multi-genre production.

In 2020 and again in 2022, Ali's catalog was removed from streaming platforms after being falsely accused of "streaming fraud" — without evidence, appeal, or accountability. Royalties were withheld. His name was erased.

Rather than give up, Ali fought back.
He rebuilt from scratch.

In 2023-2024, Ali dropped the genre-blending album trilogy Mercury, Intergalactic War Criminal, and Satanic Panic — three experimental projects released on SoundCloud. While Mercury explored abstract themes of ascension and memory, Intergalactic War Criminal confronted dystopian politics, and Satanic Panic served as both a satirical diss and artistic retaliation. The final album used distorted textures, provocative titles, and industrial undertones to call out injustice in the industry while rejecting conformity. The trilogy became a turning point — not just musically, but spiritually — solidifying Ali's identity as a fearless, multi-genre creator unafraid to weaponize sound against silence.

He registered his name, protected his works under full legal copyright, and began releasing independently — refusing to let algorithmic bias or industry negligence define his value.

In 2023, Ali returned to SoundCloud and launched his own website to ensure full creative and legal control. He now operates outside the traditional system, growing a multi-platform network and working on his most ambitious project yet: the upcoming album Brain Chemistry, alongside the artist-authored legislative proposal The Artist Rights & Platform Accountability Act — a landmark policy addressing fraud accusations, metadata abuse, and artist protection in the streaming age.

In addition to music, Ali is an abstract painter, drawing inspiration from Jackson Pollock and the expressionist movement. His art and music share a common thread: chaos, truth, and reclamation of the self.
